Dental bonding agents and resin luting cements are constantly evolving areas of restorative dentistry. Dentists are expected to separate advertising from reality. Dr. Khajotia will differentiate among the various categories of adhesive systems and resin cements from the perspective of critical Biomaterials Science considerations and clinical use, without personal bias or commercial interests.
Medical emergencies do occur in the dental office. It is difficult to stay "practiced" and remember everything to do when a crisis occurs. This course will review the more common medical emergencies in an office and discuss creating a simple emergency management system that will almost run itself.
Often, the doctor is the casualty in an emergency. The office staff must be able to function effectively on their own.
