Extraction, Grafting, and Sutures

Knowing that thousands of teeth are extracted in the United States alone each year, it makes us see the importance of creating a course for all dentists who want to add extractions and socket preservation to their practice. Whether you are a restoring GP or you are looking to perform dental implants, and you would like to offer your patients more than a simple extraction. This course will advance your knowledge of the complexities of exodontia, soft tissue management, suturing, and bone grafting. The attending doctors will get the basic knowledge in surgical extractions, indicating types of bone, membrane placement, and suturing techniques that will help you to achieve adequate width and adequate keratinized tissue for implant placement.

A hands-on workshop portion on models will be focused on bone graft, tissue management, and suturing techniques.

Objectives

  • Case Selection, Preparation of Recipient Bed, Graft Harvesting/Suturing, and Post-Op Care
  • Diagnosis, Treatment Planning & CBCT evaluation
  • Surgical Complications Anesthesia, and Exodontia
  • Atraumatic Extraction
  • Surgical Techniques to Minimize Unfavorable Results
  • Dental Extraction related Anatomy
  • Socket Preservation Procedures
  • Tissue Management
  • Membrane selection
  • Bone graft selection
  • Pre and Post-op Pain Management
