Part of the UT Health San Antonio.
The UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry Golf Scholarship Tournament started in 2005 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the School of Dentistry and more importantly, to raise funds to support the Last Man Standing Scholarship Endowment and the School of Dentistry Memorial Scholarship. Wondering how the Last Man Standing Endowment was named? At the first tournament, there were 80 players and they became the original members of the Last Man Standing competition. The last remaining participant of the original 80 will have the privilege of having the Last Man Standing Scholarship Endowment named after him. Out of those 80 players, there are currently 14 left in the running. Thanks to the golf tournament proceeds, this permanent endowment grows every year, generating funds to award to our outstanding students. This would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors, alumni, faculty and friends throughout the years. If you are unable to attend the tournament or you’re not a golfer, consider sponsoring a dental student for $235 to play in the tournament.
To help us raise more funds for the student scholarship endowments, please consider a sponsorship level.
To ensure sponsorship level acknowledgments, please complete the sponsorship form and forward payment or visit us online at makelivesbetter.uthscsa.edu/DSgolf by Friday, April 7, 2023.
