Course overview
This one-day course will serve as a comprehensive review of clinical pediatric dentistry. Course participants will interact with the faculty in an open-forum seminar on a variety of pediatric dentistry topics.
Objectives
The pediatric dentistry topics include the following:
Examination, Diagnosis, Treatment Planning
Infant Examination and Anticipatory Guidance
Restorative Dentistry for the Pediatric Patient
Pulp Therapy for the Primary Dentition
Space Maintenance
Non-Pharmacologic Behavior Management
Nitrous Oxide Analgesia for the Child Patient
Local Anesthetic Dosage Regimens for Pediatric Patients
