Course overview
The major emphasis of this part of the course is to introduce the different concepts of Occlusal Bite Plane Splint appliance and be experienced in the immediate fabrication of the stabilization type of Occlusal Bite Plane using a variety of materials.
Objectives
How to develop the Anterior Guidance and how to protect your esthetic restorations (splints)
Preparation, cementation, and adjustment sequences for complete rehabilitation and “segmental rehabilitation”
Recognize the occlusal problems
Management of two step occlusion
Fabrication of custom incisor guide table
E-Lines
Esthetic guidelines
The management of “Gummy Smile” excessive gingival display
Selective increase of occlusal vertical dimension
Immediate fabrication of occlusal bite splints
