Part of the UT Health San Antonio.
The concept of the surgical placement of multiple dental implants at diverse angles is based on the idea of maximally utilizing the patient’s available bone while gaining more favorable distribution within the arch. This simple principle has given back hope to numerous patients that otherwise would have to undergo additional bone grafting procedures with the associated additional cost, longer treatment times, and the use of removable dental prostheses. This course is designed for clinicians, staff, and dental technicians who want to expand their treatment options for state-of-the-art, implant-based fixed prosthetic dentistry for complete arch indications, providing a practical guide to the rehabilitation of the edentulous arch. The speakers will address a variety of treatment concepts and material options, mainly focusing on the all-on-four protocol and immediate function.
This lecture will provide a complete overview of the all-on-4 treatment and use of tilted implants covering the fundamental diagnostic, surgical, laboratory, and prosthetic aspects required for the immediate fixed rehabilitation of full arches.
