ADEA WIL Wellness and Well-being: Unlocking Your Inner Strength: A Path to Well-Being

Not Supported.

Course Overview

In 2021, the American Dental Association conducted a survey encompassing 20,000 dentists, shedding light on the health of dental professionals. The results indicated that 16% of these practitioners encountered anxiety, while 13% reported experiencing depression. Equally concerning was that less than half of them were aware of the well-being programs offered by their organizations.
Recognizing the significance of these issues, the ADEA Women in Leadership Section established a workgroup dedicated to formulating an initiative addressing these concerns. The purpose of the wellness and wellbeing course is to acknowledge the different aspects of well-being and equip participants with tools to cultivate habits that prevent burnout while fostering a holistic, healthy lifestyle encompassing the mind, body, and spirit. This course consists of 6 self-paced educational modules.
Participation in the didactic portion of the course requires that you:

  • Register online with our secured server.
