Obturation depends on instrumentation and for this reason, Dr. Peter Cathro’s lecture is a cornerstone for successful endodontic treatment. Can one file adequately instrument all canals or does the clinician need to have a variety of files available for proper instrumentation? What are the strengths and weaknesses of stainless steel files? Do NiTi files help reduce perforations? What degree of canal curvature causes cycles of file failure? Can files be made more fracture resistant? How do Austenite and Martensite affect NiTi phase performances?
Dr. Peter Cathro answers these questions and more as he presents his golden rules of endodontic instrumentation.
