This course discusses the causes of TMD pain including referred pain, interrelation between the tooth and TMD pain. TMD treatment options using various therapies and when they are indicated will be addressed. A portion of the course offers case studies of ten patients. These cases involve patients whose TMD pain may be generated by the tooth, or when tooth pain is generated by the TMD; patients whose pain may be due to sinus congestion, or who may be referred cervical pain and patients with various masticatory muscle pain disorders.
