Opioids prescribers play a key role in preventing the development of substance use disorders. This CE course provides practical tips on how best to obtain good intra- and post-operative pain control. Information on how to identify drug-seeking patients and how best to manage them will also be covered.

3. Describe what to do if you suspect your patient has a substance use disorder
