Part I: Introduction to Spanish

OVERVIEW
Although there are many excellent Spanish books and courses available, this course is designed specifically for members of the dental team. A brief, but intensive introduction for beginners on the everyday application of basic Spanish grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary will be presented. In addition, Ms. Leibrock will review simple phrases, which can be commonly used by the dental team. The material will be based upon the text, Vamos al Dentista, designed to be used in a dental office.

OBJECTIVES
• A beginner’s course of the Spanish language for members of the dental team. This course is a prerequisite for Part II.

PRESENTER
MANOLA LEIBROCK, B.A.
, graduated from the Santos Michelena School of Business, Caracas, Venezuela and the Centro Universitario Sor Juana, Mexico City. She has presented seminars on contemporary Latin issues and has conducted study groups for different countries. Ms. Leibrock was awarded for her work as a playwright in the Annual Cervantes Festival Tour, which toured throughout South America.
