CAD CAM Dentistry, Esthetics and Occlusion

OVERVIEW
This course is designed to aid the restorative dentist in providing more comprehensive diagnostic treatment planning and clinical treatment skills. With the continued advances in technology, techniques and materials, the future of dentistry is changing. CAD CAM dentistry is on the cutting edge of advanced restorative care. Although an increasing number of dentists are interested in offering this treatment to their patient, there is not enough information available, especially regarding occlusion.

PRESENTER
Jacob G. Park, D.D.S.,
 is a Professor of Dentistry/ Clinical in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry. Dr. Park teaches TMJ part of Gross Anatomy as a Professor/ Clinical in the Department of Cellular and Structural Biology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Medical School.

He is a mentor in the Clinical Research Foundation of Dr. Terry T. Tanaka of University of Southern California Dental School. Dr. Park has studied occlusion and management of TMD extensively under the direction of Dr. Jose dos Santos and Dr. Terry T. Tanaka. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and American Equilibration Society. Dr. Park holds fellowship with the Academy of Dentistry International, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the International College of Dentists.  He is the Past President (2015-2016) of the American Equilibration Society (International Organization for Occlusion and TMD www.aes-tmj.org). Dr. Park serves as a chairman of Subcommittee 9 CAD CAM in Dentistry of the Standards Committee on Dental Products of the American Dental Association.
