OVERVIEW
Participants will learn about the importance of maintaining your patient’s ridge after socket extraction. The program will discuss simple, yet effective, techniques that will preserve important bone vital for preserving smiles and preparing for future implants.

OBJECTIVES
An overview of bone grafting and pre-implant techniques through lecture and hands-on models and materials where participants will:

• Understand site preservation and why it is important to graft sockets
• Receive both clinical and scientific information on different bone-grafting materials and methods
• Recognize the clinical indications and benefits for site-grafting
• Obtain easy-to-understand, step-by-step instructions on how to implement bone-graftng into your practice.

PRESENTER
TIMOTHY KOSINSKI, D.D.S., M.A.G.D., is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Society of Osseointegration. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and received his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kosinski most recently received the Academy of General Dentistry’s Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition. He has placed more than 8,000 dental implants, published more than 84 articles on the surgical and prosthetic phases of implant dentistry.
