The Workshop Section is dedicated to the explanation and delivery of information for twelve exercises that teach the five components for the technique along with interactive dynamics for implementation in the format for doing a prophylaxis or scaling and root planing. Each exercise will be described, and then viewed as a video action then discussed again to solidify the importance of the information being shared. You may pause the delivery of information to allow yourself time to repeat the action as you learn to perform the procedures described.
The final portion of each exercise will be a short listing of frequently observed errors in the exercise. One more repetition with these ideas in mind helps assimilate the new information. In online studies repetition is of paramount importance in learning motor skills of this mature. The ultimate goal of this program is to help the practitioner deal with occupational pain, not just today, but in the future. “The User’s Guide to Managing Occupational Pain” can be your companion in the future.
