This course is designed to address the need to provide information that enhances the clinical and procedural knowledge of pharmacologic principles for Dentists in their practice. The first lecture is intended to inform about the differences between an adverse drug reaction and an adverse drug event. Also being discussed will be safety concerns regarding adverse events and various efforts to avoid potential drug reactions. There will be a test at the end of Lecture #1 that must be completed successfully in order to receive education credit for the lecture. Dr. Weinberg has indicated that if you plan to take all four lectures it would be best to complete them sequentially.
